Da Mario se gepraat…

Dit is hierdie jaar 30 jaar gelede dat die heel eerste Def Leppard rehearsal plaasgevind het in Sheffield in Engeland.

Heeltemal ongelooflik ek weet, maar dit was hierdie maand ook 20 jaar gelede dat Def Leppard hulle vierde album, Hysteria, uitgereik het.  Ek het hierdie CD die eerste keer in 1990 gekoop en het hom sedertdien nog nie opgehou luister nie! Dit het min of meer ‘n jaar geneem vir die verkope om regtig te begin styg, maar op die einde het dit die groep se suksesvolste CD ooit geraak met 7 liedjies wat as singles vrygestel is en totale verkope van meer as 18 miljoen copies!!
